Paint Tip No. ONE How do you fix a damp wall?
|
1. Always prepare the surface carefully before painting. Remove all loose or chalky paint with a wire brush. If the surface is in poor condition, strip down to bare surface. 2. Apply one coat of PROMOCURE diluted with 10% turps and allow 18 hours to dry. 3. Apply one coat of PROMOCURE undiluted and allow 24 hours to dry. 4. You are now ready to apply your choice of colour in either PROMOSATIN or PROMOSHEEN.

How do you keep outside walls looking like new?
|
1. Always prepare the surface carefully before painting. Remove all loose or chalky paint with a wire brush. If the surface is in poor condition, strip down to bare surface. 2. If you need to strip down the surface, apply one coat of PROMOCURE and allow to dry for 24 hours. 3. Apply two coats of PROMOSATIN in the colour of your choice and allow to dry for 6 hours between coats. |

If you need to strip down the surface, apply one coat of PROMOCURE and allow to dry for 24 hours. 3. Apply two coats of PROMOSHEEN in the colour of your choice and allow to dry for 4-6 hours between coats.

How do you refurbish an existing painted steel window?
|
1. If window frame is in a bad condition, apply Prominent Paints STRIPPA with a brush and wait for wrinkling to occur. 2. Scrape the coating off with a scraper. 3. Sand the window frame to remove any rust. 4. Wash the window frame with general purpose liquid cleaner and rinse well. 5. Apply two coats of PROMORUST and let dry for 4-6 hours between coats. 6. Apply one coat of universal undercoat and let dry for 24 hours. 7. Apply two coats of PROMOGLOSS allowing 24 hours between coats.
